Industrial Services Group awarded additional work
Alcoa recently awarded additional capital project services in Rockdale, Texas to Zachry Industrial, Inc., a subsidiary of Zachry Holdings, Inc. Installation of 10,000 feet of new underground water line and land reclamation in the facilities landfill area will be provided by Zachry’s Industrial Services Group.
Zachry has provided extensive maintenance and capital support at Alcoa for more than 20 years in the power plant smelter & mining operations. The additional work is a testament to the continued value that the industrial services group has provided Alcoa, the world’s leading producer of primary and fabricated aluminum.
“Alcoa is a valued customer,” said Steve Brauer, president of the industrial services group with Zachry. “This new project demonstrates just one of the many ways our team adds value to this site.”
Since 1989, Zachry has provided a variety of services including scaffold erection, insulation, carpentry, planning and scheduling, boiler turnarounds, electrical, crane operations, sandblasting, painting, fuel processing area outages and PMs, water well installation and water truck operations.
