Installation of 10,000 feet of new underground water line and land reclamation in the facilities landfill area will be provided by Zachry’s Industrial Services Group.

Leading EPC provider, Zachry Holdings, Inc. has been selected by Sempra Generation to build one of the world’s largest solar power plants, adding 234 megawatts to the U.S. renewable fleet. Owned and operated by Sempra Generation, the Mesquite Solar Project will be located near Arlington, Arizona, and is projected to offset 200,000 tons of carbon emission each year.

The Warren County project anticipates a full notice to proceed in May 2012, with a completion in 2014.

Zachry Holdings, Inc. announced today that employee donations to Zachry’s 2010 United Way Campaign topped $2 million. The average employee contribution at 103 ZHI campaigns across the nation was $262.04, an increase from the 2009 $260.90 average contribution. With the dollar for dollar match Zachry provides, $4,089,472 will go to support United Way Agencies and community interests in and around 83 Zachry job site and office locations.
