Power

Zachry Engineering began as an engineering department within an operating utility responsible for central station power plants. We have designed several large steam power plants fueled by coal, gas and oil.

Alternative Fuels

Utility companies today face an ever-growing demand by customers, communities and regulatory agencies to provide a larger percentage of renewable energy. Whether it’s designing an ethanol facility, construction and technical support for biomass units or upgrades of hydro plant generation capacity, we have the expertise, skills and experience to develop these sustainable, alternative, domestic energy resources. We make it possible for our customers to meet Renewable Portfolio Standards (RPS) and achieve additional economic benefits.
