Startup & Commissioning

Zachry Engineering has the experience and depth of knowledge to support customers in the areas of power plant startup and testing. Startup and testing personnel are proficient in all areas of startup, commissioning, operating, maintaining and testing of power generation equipment. A single individual or an entire startup team and/or testing team can be assigned to meet any of the following needs.

Project Management

In this role, Zachry Engineering is responsible to the owner for the entire program, directing work from pre-design through post-construction. Feasibility studies, concept development, programming, design management, bid management, construction, occupancy planning and facility management may all be included.

Project Development Support

Our approach to project development is driven by the particular needs of each individual owner for their project, not by pre-conceived ideas. We believe that the utmost importance should be placed on the unique characteristics and needs of each project and individual customer.

Permit Support

Zachry Engineering has supported several successful project permitting activities and helped obtain air, water and other permits. Plant data and site characteristics are routinely provided to owners and permit consultants during the permitting efforts. We fully support the applications and testimony that are routinely done by the owner or by other consulting companies.
