SAN ANTONIO (March 1, 2010) – Top engineering, construction and maintenance provider, Zachry Holdings, Inc. will partner with driver David Starr and Randy Moss Motorsports during the 2010 Camping World NASCAR Truck Series. Zachry looks forward to engaging employees and customers in partnership with Randy Moss Motorsports and the No. 81 Zachry Toyota Tundra.

Denver (February 4, 2010) – Zachry Holdings, Inc. donated 25 ShelterBoxes Thursday to the Denver Mile High Rotary Foundation to provide tents, water purifiers, blankets, cook stoves and more, to 250 victims displaced by the earthquakes in Haiti. Each ShelterBox costs $1,000. So far, 5,000 ShelterBoxes have reached the Haitian homeless, helping 50,000 women, children and families achieve a safe, comprehensive solution in the wake of widespread hardship.

Each fall organizations apply, and members of the ZVC nominate programs, to be considered by the council for execution the following year.

San Antonio (May 26, 2009) – Zachry announces that Proto-Power Corporation, a leading nuclear engineering firm, has become Zachry Nuclear Engineering, Inc. with its full integration into the Zachry family of companies under the subsidiary, Zachry Nuclear, Inc.

San Antonio (Nov. 10, 2008) – Zachry has successfully completed the acquisition of Southerland Associates Inc., a family-owned and operated engineering, construction and fabrication services company based in Charlotte, N.C. The integration of the two companies will provide Zachry customers with additional services, as well as allow for long-term growth in the region.

David Starr, Zachry-sponsored NASCAR driver, stood wide-eyed with his head tilted up to the partially built NRG power plant as he took it all in—the detail, the dedication, the towering structure casting a shadow across the Zachry job site.

San Antonio (January 16, 2009) – Recognizing outstanding and innovative use of concrete in construction, The Southern California Chapter of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) awarded Zachry the Charles J. Pankow, Jr. Award for their work on the TXI Riverside Cement Plant Expansion in Oro Grande, Calif.

CEMEX' Balcones plant near New Braunfels is nearing completion of an expansion project begun in January 2007 that will double the facility's existing production while reducing emissions. The expansion is being built by both CEMEX and Zachry Construction Corporation of San Antonio.
