Employee Concerns Program

The Employee Concerns Program (ECP) is a multi-faceted program available to all Zachry Nuclear Inc. (ZNI) personnel (employed either directly or indirectly by ZNI).  The ECP provides ZNI personnel professional and confidential assistance to deal with concerns related to their personal lives or to report concerns related to the environment, health, occupational safety, ethics, a hostile work environment or those that are nuclear safety related.  The ECP is also charged with addressing claims of Harassment, Intimidation, Retaliation or Discrimination (HIRD) related to employment and the reporting of Nuclear Safety Related Concerns.

 

What is an Employee Concern?

An Employee Concern is any concern of a personal or professional nature, which causes a ZNI individual worry, anxiety, fear, alarm, distress. Concerns may be personal, workplace related, or nuclear safety related. 

 

You may use any of these options to voice your concern:

  • Contact your first-line supervisor
  • Contact another member of management
  • Use the Employee Concerns Program (ECP)
  1. Complete an Employee Concern Reporting form and provide the form to your supervisor, manager or ECP Representative
  2. Submit yout completed Employee Concern Reporting form online.
  3. Deposit your written concern in the ECP Drop-Box.

Zachry Nuclear requires an atmosphere of open communication. All personnel have the right and responsibility to raise any possible safety or work related concern they might have without fear of retaliation.

 

Confidentiality is an important element of the Employee Concerns Program.

 

 

Electrical Distribution System Modeling

Zachry Nuclear offers a full range of Electrical Distribution System (EDS) analysis capabilities. We use industry standard ETAP® software from Operation Technology, Inc. (OTI) as well as other commercial software products including SKM® Power*Tools for Windows and EDSA® to perform EDS analysis.

Our Nuclear Quality Assurance Program complies with the requirements of the Code of Federal Regulations (10CFR50, Appendix B and 10CFR Part 21) and American National Standards Institute (N45.2). Our proprietary software products are developed, validated, and controlled under our Software Quality Assurance Program, which in addition to meeting the above requirements; also meet the requirements of ASME NQA-1.

Nuclear Engineering

Our nuclear I&C experience covers a wide spectrum of engineering capabilities.  Whether it involves control system enhancements to address component obsolescence concerns, resolving and addressing the unique challenges associated with analog to digital upgrades, or developing control logic for new safety related system digital platforms, our diverse I&C talent base enables us to offer the appropriate skill set for any of our client’s needs.  Structurally, our expertise cross a multitude of disciplines including structural assessments, seismic qualification, vibration analysis, thermal and failure analysis, fracture mechanics and equipment foundation design and analysis. Our mechanical system design and engineering services relate to a wide range of power plant mechanical applications including our proprietary thermal-hydraulic system and component modeling software, used specifically for analyzing the performance of systems and equipment in nuclear power plants.
