With an extensive history in natural gas processing and transportation projects, Zachry has recently constructed two large liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals — one for Freeport LNG near Freeport, Texas, and the other for Cheniere Energy in Port Arthur, Texas . The Freeport terminal, which opened in April 2008, was the first LNG terminal to be built in the United States in more than two decades.

Zachry continues to participate in projects related to the natural gas supply chain, including developing projects related to LNG liquefaction, terminals, gas processing facilities, fractionation and ethane separation.
